16 Dec. 09 Nine Morning 1/9

Chroy說今天是"九晨"的第一天
就是聖誕節前連續九天的早上
從四點開始就有人聚集在教堂或街上跳舞狂歡
若沒有工作則會持續整個早上


我問他為何是九天
"No reason. It's from long time ago."
但應該有啥特別的意義吧?
結果我只找到同樣是天主教國家菲律賓的新聞報導:
"It has been believed by most people that if you would be able to complete the 9 days of mass or the 9 mornings, your greatest wish for the Christmas season would be granted before the year ends." * 
(如果完成九天的祈禱式就能在年底前實現願望!!!)
那我應該只想早起一次去看看!
